The game Shadows of Doubt takes place in the 1980s, in a hyper-industrialized alternate reality. Try on the role of a detective: use special devices like a real detective, look for clues and get money for solving crimes, searching and selling useful information, and so on.

Play the way you want in a fully simulated world filled with hundreds of characters. Explore unique procedurally generated cities: find, meet and track down their unique inhabitants, each of whom has their own name, job, apartment and daily routine. Crimes also have their own characteristics: different suspects, evidence and conditions. In a word, you will have a place to use your talent as a detective.



Absolute freedom

You can explore everything! Every corner of every seedy bar, every place of work, every squalid hotel room... The whole world of this dystopia is at your feet. Break into other people´s apartments, rummage through secret documents or hack security systems - even a thrown away check can be the key to solving a crime. Find out where it was issued, look at security camera footage and match the footage with the time stamp on the receipt to find out who it belonged to!

In the world of Shadows of Doubt, all events are completely computer modulated. Each city dweller has his own apartment, job, daily routine, favorite activities, frequently visited places and people with whom he interacts. All characters live their own independent lives in a world that changes on its own, with or without you - use this knowledge to your advantage!
